Evelyn Ruth Hodge, age 93, of Rutledge went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was a lifelong member of Central Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph (Ed) Edward Hodge and son Ronald Leon Hodge; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include granddaughter, Sheri Bennett of Rutledge; grandson, Dale (Robin) Baskette of Winchester, Tn.; great-grandsons, Steve “Chip” (Shanna) Bennett, Jr. of Bean Station and Dustin Bennett of Rutledge, D.J. Baskette and Matthew Baskette; great-granddaughter, Christina Baskette; great-great grandchildren, Makenzie and Bryson Bennett of Bean Station and Lillie; sister, Agnes (Clarence) Moyers of Rutledge; special niece, Helen Majors; and several nieces and nephews. Special caregivers are Becky Smith, Tonya Kinser, Betty Kinser, and special little friends, Nicole Smith, Gracie Smith and Zac Kinser. The family will receive friends Friday, February 8, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Central Point Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Kitts and Rev. Wayne Loy will officiate. Burial will follow in Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Bennett, Jr., Dustin Bennett, James Stratton, Ron Clevenger, Wayne Hodge and Delmas Farrar.
