Wayne J. Morgan age 68 of Blaine, passed away March 1, 2013 at U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of New Freedom Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Morgan and his father, J. R. Morgan. Survivors include his mother, Reba Morgan of Blaine; sister, Brenda Whitt Lawson; nephew, “Tiger” Whitt; three great nephews, Andy, Cody and “Smitty” Whitt, all of Lenoir City; aunts, Iva Daniel, Edna Williams, and Vera Mae Morgan; uncles, Stanley and Junior Williams; and several cousins. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge with Rev. Lee Wayne Grubb and Rev. Justin Summers officiating. Family and friends will gather Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:45 A.M. in Block Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. prior to services Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
