Gay Walton

Gay Walton, age 86 of Rutledge, entered his heavenly home on November 11, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith, and a loving uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Elbert and Nannie Tomlinson Walton; sisters, Maude Walton, Vivian Jones, and Ova Smith; brothers, Rev. Royal Walton, Gail Walton, Charlie Walton, Chester Walton; seven half brothers and sisters. Survivors include nephew, Larry (Brenda) Jones; sister-in-law, Merrel Walton, Rose Walton; several nieces, nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Ridgeview Terrace for their kind and loving care. Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 A.M. Monday, November 14, 2016 in Grainger Memorial Gardens for an 10:00 A.M. graveside service.
