He was preceded in death by his mother: Carrie Lou Northern; father: John Mann Northern; brothers: Kenneth, Paul, Vernon, and Ivan Northern; First wife: Imogene Coffee Northern and step son: Donald Blanken.Harold leaves his wife: Goldia Northern; daughter: Brenda (Keith) Eller of Bean Station; son: Eddie Northern of Knoxville; brother: Melvin (Jean) Northern of Rogersville; step daughter: Darlene (Steve) Buell of Bean Station and step son: Rick (Jennie) Blanken of Blaine. Step grandchildren: Tony (Stacey), Scott (Brooke), Shawn (Kelley) Buell; Bo (Chandra) Blanken, Ritchie, Lucy (Tennessee) Blanken, Staci (Jordan) Cruze, and Nate Blanken; great grandchildren: Brandon (Julie), Blake, and Brett Buell, Makenzie and Kaylin Buell, Sloane Blanken, Zander Turner, and Cole Cruze, and great great grandson Kayson Buell.Visitation will be Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Tracy Clifford and Rev. Lowell Welch officiating.Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Buffalo Cemetery.
