Hazel A. Owens

: Hazel A. Owens age 97 of Rutledge passed away quietly in her sleep, February 18, 2017 at Life Care of Jefferson City. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and was a devoted wife. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Willie Byrd (WB) Owens, and an unborn child. She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church for many years. The family would like to thank everyone at Life Care of Jefferson City for all the love and care they gave her. May God bless each one of you. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews who loved her. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, February 20, 2017 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. prior to services, Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 P.M. in Grainger Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 P.M. graveside service, Tuesday, February 21, 2017.Read Obituary
