Lucy Jane Carter

Lucy Jane Carter age 97 of Rutledge was born November 23, 1919 and passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband John Carter, daughter; Louanna Webb, sister; Louise McDaniel, grand-daughter Cindy Ball, grandson; David Collins. Mrs. Carter was a member of Mitchell Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her children Betty J. Clifton, Carolyn Laws (Gary) and Jodie Carter (Louisana). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 5 Great Great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 3:00PM at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny lamb, and Rev. Travis Bowden officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM prior to the service. Graveside Services will be held following the funeral at Mitchell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.Read Obituary
