Anna Lou McDaniel Kitts, 89 of Bean Station, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019. She was a Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She was also a member of Clinchdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband of 66 years Curtis Kitts, Parents Bill and Beulah McDaniel, Son Tom Kitts, Daughters Brenda Kitts and infants Betty Ann and Helen Kitts, Brothers Paul, Roy, Eugene, Dave and Ernest, Sisters Estella Hixon, Barbara Maples, and Evelyn Kee. Survivors include Sons Donnie and Donna Kitts of Bean Station, Steve and Fonda Kitts of Rutledge, Daughter-in-Law Debbie Kitts of Rutledge, Granddaughters Misti and Scott Smith, Kim and Steve Longmire, Stacie and Donnie Defrees and Krissy Holbert. Grandsons Justin and Amanda Kitts, Corey and Shannon Kitts, Rickey and Amber Kitts, and Cole and Cheryl Lakins. Great Grandchildren Kaylee (Ryan) Gibson, Brady Smith, Owen Kitts, Whitlee (Nathan McCroskey) Harding, Emalee Harding, Devin Holbert, Zach and Lelia Defrees, Conlan, GraceLyn and Aleah Kitts, Hadley and Harper Kitts, Landon Lakins and Lizzie Longmire. Sister Faye Hixon and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends. Special friend Rick Hill.
Pallbearers will be Justin, Corey, and Rickey Kitts, Cole Lakins, Scott Smith, and Donnie Defrees. Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandsons.
The family will receive friends at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow at 8:00 PM. Vernon Dalton and Mark Tanner will be officiating. Burial will be held at Mitchell Springs Cemetery on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 11:00am. Family will gather at Anna Lou’s in Bean Station.
