Anna Jayne Sinnamon, age 83 of Rutledge, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 14, 2019. She worked for Joppa Elementary and retired with over twenty years of service as a teacher’s assistant, and was of the Baptist faith. She dearly loved and was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed her flowers and watching the butterflies.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Thomas and Vola Mae Webb; son Dennis Wayne Sinnamon; step-father Tom Sellars; brother Bud Webb; and sisters Polly Williams, Ruth Hensley, and Vola McNutt. She is survived by her husband Kenneth E. Sinnamon; children Ginger Byrd, Deryl (Norma) Sinnamon, Lois (Wayne) Black-Dalton, and Annette (Steve) Frye; brothers Bob (Aileen) Webb, and Jesse (Judy) Webb; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and special friend and caregiver, Lucille Swiney.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with funeral services to follow. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Grainger Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Sinnamon will officiate the services.
