May 12, 1963 ~ February 26, 2019 (age 55)
Jimmy Wayne Ward, age 55 formerly of Rutledge, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at his residence in Jefferson City. He was saved at an early age and attended Bean Station Baptist Temple. He loved watching the Tennessee Vols mascot dog, Smoky, watching Gunsmoke on television, and Rocky Top.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy Sr "Jack" and Helen Ward; sister Elizabeth Ward; and nephew Mike Ward. He is survived by his brothers Tommy Ward and wife, Faye; Dickie Ward and wife, Lorene; Frankie Ward and wife, Pat; and Leroy Ward Jr and wife, Linda; sister Mary Crowe and husband, Buddy; and a host of other beloved family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019, at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rutledge.

The family wishes to give special thanks to all the caregivers at Avalon Hospice and at the Morristown Regional Cancer Center/Thompson Oncology Group.
