Ronald Edward Hunter, age 73, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Ridgeview Terrace of Life Care Center in Rutledge. He was a talented photographer and artist, and thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of his life. He attended Rutledge Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Margie Hunter. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Hunter; children Julie Hunter, Teresa Brabston, Travis Hunter, and Valerie Hunter Kelly; grandchildren Kimberly (Dillion) Atkins, Stacy (George) Cameron, Jonathan Hixon, Sean Brabston; great-grandchildren Ariyah Atkins, and soon to be born Delilah Atkins, Amy and Austyn Cameron; also children of George Cameron, Whitney (Eli) Myers, and Megan (Steven) Strange, Nicholas Cameron and George's great-great-grandchildren Zaniel Myers, Addison, Racelyn, Remington, Tennessee, and soon to be born Heidi Strange; special friends Norman and Brenda Moore; and dear little dog, Mindy.
At his request he was cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
