Alta Lucille Davis

Alta Lucille Farrar Davis, age 90, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was a long-time member of Grace Point Baptist Church in Talbott (formally Magna View.)She was preceded in death by her parents Everett Boyd Farrar and Eula Bertha Kidwell; husband Arthur Brent Davis; son Robert Brent Davis; sister Sarah Virginia Farrar Orrick; and brother William Taylor Farrar.She leaves to celebrate her life and mourn her passing, daughter Anita Davis Yates (Rod), grandson Andrew Joseph Yates; granddaughter Angela Davis Yates (Ben), great-granddaughters Eliza Mae Wilkinson and Lydia Jane Wilkinson; grandson Robert Brent Davis, Jr (Katie), great-grandson Peyton Alexander Davis; granddaughter Kristie Dawn Davis (Rob), great-granddaughter Delaney Caroline Ailor; great-grandsons Tommy Earl Allen, and Nathaniel Dale Allen; cousins, nieces, and nephews.A depth of gratitude goes Penny Morris, long-time home helper, and to UT Hospice, both of whom were invaluable for their tireless and compassionate efforts.Public viewing at your convenience will be available at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018, and early on Friday morning.Family and friends will gather at Shiloh United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018, for a Celebration of Life service followed by supper.
