Gary Edward Welch, age 62, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at his residence in Rutledge. He enjoyed going to and spending time at the lake. He was saved and claimed hope with the Lord at his home a short time ago.He was preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Dolly (Crews) Welch. He is survived by his son Aaron Welch of Corbin, KY; step-son Jeremy Myers; step-daughter Amanda Thewlis; brothers Donnie (Kellie) Welch, and Terry (Carolyn) Welch; sister Betty Branham (Eric Charity); nephews Jason and Jerome Holmes, and Derek, Jeromy, and Matthew Welch; nieces Jessica Holmes, and Ashley Bradley, and a host of other beloved family members and friends.The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home, with funeral services following.
