Lou Ella Welch

Lou Ella Welch age 95 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation North Haven. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by parents Simeon Author and Lilly Welch of Washburn; sisters, Bethel Bullen, Ethel Wolfe, Beulah Welch, and Eulah Welch; and brother, Elmer Welch. Survivors include brother, Rev. Delmer (Edna) Welch of Thorn Hill; half sisters, Vena Ruth (Raymond) Winstead of Thorn Hill, and Rosemary Prince of Ohio; half brother, Dallas Welch of Ringgold, GA; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Clifton Wilmoth, Rev. Lyndall Welch, and Rev. Lowell Welch officiating. Interment to follow in Dodson’s Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.Read Obituary
