Mary Lyda Shockley

Mary Lyda Shockley, age 79, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Life Care Center in Jefferson City, TN. She was a member of the Baptist faith, saved at a young age.She is preceded in death by her parents Robert W. and Clara Marie (Blackburn) McGeehee; her husband Robert Shockley, and two sisters Betty Gibbs and Bobbie June Whitlock. She is survived by her son Dale Baskette and wife, Robin of Winchester; daughter Sheri Bennett of Rutledge; sisters Ann Carpenter and husband, Glen; and Roberta Bishop and husband, Ray; grandchildren Steve Bennett Jr and wife, Shanna; Dustin Bennett, Christina Baskette, DJ Baskette and wife, Corrie; and Matthew Baskette; great-grandchildren Makenzie and Bryson Bennett, Lilly Marie Dalton, and Trey and Troy Baskette; and several other nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev.
