Rayford Glen Morgan

: Rayford Glen Morgan, age 78 of Rutledge, went to be with the Lord, March 6, 2018 at Life Care of Jefferson City. He was a member of Mitchell Springs Baptist Church, and was retired from Knox Farmer’s Coop, and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pearl Morgan; brothers, Earl (Bubby) Morgan, Bob Morgan, Vaughn (Pete) Morgan, and Carl Wayne Morgan; sisters, Lena Mae Jones and Dena Faye Morgan. Survivors include his wife Daisy V. Morgan; sons, Daryl (Diane) Morgan of Rutledge and Brian (Wendee) Morgan of New Market; grandchildren, Kristie Fey, Lacey Helvey, Mady Helvey, and Kaycee Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of Life Care of Jefferson City for their care during his illness. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Lewis and Rev. Kim Farrow officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening prior to services at the funeral home.Read Obituary
