Shirley (Heatherly) Patterson, age 90 of Blaine, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. She was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband John (J.C.) Patterson, her parents Andy and Lassie (Stooksbury) Heatherly; brothers Obie and Ralph Heatherly; and her sister Ethel Watkins.She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David and Linda, Mike, Larry and Pam, Isaac “Ike” and Debbie, all of Blaine; grandchildren Julie and Tim, John and Mandi, Beth and Rusty, Amber and Brian, Tasha and Chris, Stacie and Caleb, Alicia, Joseph, Nikki and Jeremy, and Amy; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers Sam and Carol; Harold and Linda, Clifford and Leslie Heatherly; and sisters Ruth Neese, and Priscilla and Eric Boring.The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge, with funeral services to follow. Rev. Gary Satterfield will be officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Vineyard Cemetery in Blaine.Services entrusted to Smith-Reagan Funeral Home of Rutledge, www.smithreaganfuneralhome.com.
