Thomas Kitts age 66 of Rutledge, Born August 30, 1951 and departed this life November 16, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He served in the United States Army from 1971-1977 and he served in Vietnam from 1971-1972.
He was an avid deer hunter and loved watching his grandchildren play sports.
He was a member of Noah's Chapel American Christian Church of Rutledge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Kitts, Mother-in-law Wilma Staley, sisters Brenda, Helen, and Betty Ann Kitts, along with Special Nephew Jason Sykes.
Survivors include Wife of 44 years, Deborah Kitts, and Mother Anna Lou Kitts, daughters: Kim Harding, Stacie (Donnie) Defrees, of Rutledge, Krissy Holbert of White Pine. Grandson Devin Holbert whom he raised as his own son. Other Grandchildren include Whitlee and Emalee Harding, and Zach and Lelia Defrees.
Brothers: Donnie (Donna) Kitts, and Steve (Fonda) Kitts.
Along with other Nieces and Nephews and Family and Friends.
Pallbearers: Nephews: Justin Kitts, Corey Kitts, Rickey Kitts, Cole Lakins, Rob Sykes and Scott Smith.
The family will receive friends Saturday November 18, 2017 at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm
Funeral will be held at Noah's Chapel American Christian Church of Rutledge at 2:00 pm. Sunday November 19, 2017 with Bobby Kitts and Kevin Roberts officiating, burial at the Noah's Chapel Cemetery will follow.
