Arthur B. Lewis Jr., 79, of Bean Station, TN, left his earthly body on April 11, 2022. Arthur was a 53-year member with the Lions Club and participated in countless R.A.M. Clinics with Dr. Stan Brock. He owned several businesses including The Burger Barn/Country Storage in White Pine, TN. Arthur was an intricate member of the Grainger County Tomato Festival, where helped and attended for many years. In addition, he was at every Tractor Pull held at Rutledge City Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lillian Lewis; his devoted wife, Georgia (White); and son, James Lewis.
He is survived by his siblings, Allan Lewis, of Bethesda MD and Ann (Dave) Pontius of Normal, IL; daughter, Pamela (Michael) Keller of Talbott; grandchildren, Aaron (Kaitlyn) Keller of Morristown, Brianne (Andrew) Keys of Union, KY; and never to forget his favorite feller, great-grandson: Levi Keys.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12 noon to 2:00pm with funeral to follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Terry Winstead and Rev. Jeremy Gilmer officiating. Graveside service will follow funeral at Jarnagin Cemetery in Morristown.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Smokey Mountain Lions Charities Mobile Vision Lab at PO Box 70276 Knoxville, TN 37938 in honor of his great-grandson, Levi.
Friends and family may bring old pairs of glasses to the funeral home to be donated in Arthur’s name.
