Barbara Lois Fennell Spoone, age 87, of Rutledge passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on May 18, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Spoone, parents; Boyd and Edna (Mitchell)Fennell, half-brothers; Ed, Ott and Clayton Fennell and half-sister; Louella Sprouse.
Barbara is survived by her son; Leon and wife Debra, grandson; Bradley (Andrea)Spoone, granddaughter; Bethany Kaye (Chris Shofner), great granddaughters; Makenna and Kamryn Spoone and great grandson Clayton Spoone. Sister in law; Avonale Bush, very special niece; Gail Caylor and great niece Chloe Caylor, several nieces and nephews and her four-legged best buddy Toto.
Barbara accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age and was a lifelong member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church.
Pallbearers; Rick Patterson, Chris Shofner, Brandon Smith, Bradley Spoone, Anthony Watson, and Dale Watson. Honorary Pallbearers; Damon Farrow and Donald Ramsey.
Family will receive friends on Friday May 20, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating.
The family will meet at Smith Reagan Funeral Home Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9:00am to go in procession to New Blackwell Baptist Church Cemetery for a 10:00am Graveside Service.
