Obituary

Don Watson, age 70, of Rutledge passed away on February 19, 2022.  Don was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bashert Baptist Church.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, JW and Ruth Watson; brother, Bobby Watson.

He is survived by his daughters, Nikki Waldrop (Jeremy), and Amy Saylor (Jim); mother of his children, Debbie Patterson; grandchildren, Mason, Maddison, Kynlea, Kaitlyn, Annie, Garrett, Kannon, and Josie; great grandchildren, Bella, Alex, Casey Joe, Wyatt, Lexi, Kaylee, and Cadence; sister, Jeannie Alexander; brothers, Thomas (Angela), Roger (Tina), Jerry (Wanda), Rick (Wendy); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Special thanks to Don’s caregivers; Janice Ramsey, Cindy Miller, Debby Brown, Tonya Wood, and Chasity Warwick.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Smith Reagan Funeral Home from 5-7pm with services to follow at 7pm with Sean Watson and Darrell Walker officiating.  Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1pm at Grainger Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers; Toby Cornett, Garrett Brown, Mason Bailey, Casey Ford. Chester Wood, and Blake Wood.
