Garland H. Greenlee, 75, of Rutledge, entered into eternal rest with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home. Garland was saved at a young age and was a lifetime member of Central Point Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Stella (Cameron) Greenlee; brothers, Millard, Carroll, T.H., Preston, R.M., Vaughn, Fain, J. Harold, and Alvin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gladys Greenlee; daughter, Jennifer (James) Compton; grandchildren, Abigail, James, Madison, and Jacob Compton; sister, Annebelle Smith of Rutledge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Garland was a farmer all of his life and he loved growing tomatoes. He also loved deer and turkey hunting and fishing. Most of all, his pride and joy was his daughter and grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his loved ones.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm.
Friends and family will meet at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 11:00 am for a graveside service.
