J Allen Spoon, 75, of Rutledge, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his home following an extended illness.  He was a member of New Blackwell Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; Paul Spoon, mother; Beatrice Noe, sons; Brent Spoon and David Myers and sister; Sandra Anderson.

He is survived by his wife; Belva (Cookie) Spoon, brothers; Ricky Spoon, Terry Spoon, sisters; Brenda Williams,  Susan (Peter) Shirley, son; Greg (Rena) Greer, daughter; Kathy (John) Anderson, granddaughters; Brittany (Lucas) Minnich, Whitney (Zachary) Calloway, Megan (Cody) Helton, Amy (Robby) Stalans, great-grandchildren; Dayton, Kaylee, Ella and Cora Minnich, Eden Bull, Lillian Helton, Joshua, Leila and Brooklynn Daniel, several nieces and nephews and special friend; Rick Epperson.

Per J Allen’s wishes, no services on visitation will be held.
