Jessie Clinton Williams, age 82, of Rutledge, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church. He was a foreman and superintendent for over 8 years at Hodge Construction Company, along with being a commercial contractor for 44 years. He served on the Grainger County Commission for over 20 years, where he served on multiple committees. He was a lifetime fisherman and hunter, along with being a farmer for many years and an avid outdoors man.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Glen and Ethel Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty June Williams. His children; Rickey (Kathy) Williams, Rita (Ronnie) Bull, Paula (Scott) Stratton. His grandchildren; Ritchie (Shaina) Williams, Jenny (Travis) Myers, Suzie (Jason) Johnson, John (Michelle) Bull, Seth Bull, Tyler (Mara) Bull, and William Stratton.
His 15 great-grandchildren; Molly, Mia, Reese, Ian, Garrett, Lainey, Talon, Victoria, Jaxon, Macey, Victoria, Alexis, Laura, Ava, and Lily. Brother, Zalen (Sherry) Williams. Niece, Stephanie (Rodney) Reagan. Nephew, Reed (Whitney) Williams. Great-nieces; Emma, River, Ila. Great Nephew, Owen and his numerous special friends.
Family and friends will gather at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11am for a graveside service.
Pallbearers are Ritchie Williams, John Bull, Travis Myers, Seth Bull, Tyler Bull, and Jason Puckett.
