Lamon “Hal” Whitt, 82, of Corryton passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020. He was a member of New Corinth Baptist Church and attended Byerleys Chapel Baptist Church. Hal retired from KUB Gas Department “Bernard Street.”

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Mitchell Whitt; parents, Thea and Josie Whitt; brothers, Melvin, George, and Howard Whitt; sister, Edwina Cameron.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Jamy) Whitt and LaReva (Charles) Orrill; sisters, Muriel Walton and Joann (Joe) Stansberry; brothers, Ralph (Wanda) Whitt, Perry (Kay) Whitt; brother-in-law, Robert Cameron; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family will meet at New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 2:00pm for a graveside service with Rev. Wayne Roach officiating.
