Marie “Mamaw” White, devoted mother and grandmother, age 87, passed away on June 10th, 2022, surrounded by her family whom she loved dearly. Marie was born Decemebr 7th, 1934, in Mascot Tennessee to Fred and Monnie Weaver. Marie adored her older brother, Laurence Weaver and loved unconditionally her niece, Stephanie Weaver.
Marie married the love of her life, Boyd White, after she graduated Carter High School. They worked hard on the White farm milking cows and growing tobacco.
On December 24th 1961, Marie gave birth to the greatest gift that could ever be given, their son Randy L. White.
Marie is survived by her son, Randy White and his wife Tracey, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Chad White and his wife Courtney, Aubrey, Aydn, Zander White, Josie, Todd White, and fiancé Scarlett. Violet and soon to be Marley Marie. Lillian White, her sister in law and family. Michael White her nephew, who she loved like a son; he spent many summers with them. Randy and Michael were like brothers growing up. Brandon Coffey, she loved deeply for everything he did for her aunt Gertie and her many friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Monnie Weaver, her brother Laurence Weaver, his wife Carrol and their daughter Stephanie, her husband Boyd White.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2002 from 5 pm – 7 pm at Smith Reagan Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Red House Cemetery at 10 am for family and friends.
We would like to give special thanks to Emily Shontay Carr for everything you did for Marie “Mamaw”. She loved you as she did all the grandkids.
