Obituary

Mary F. (Mongar) Campbell, age 85, of Corryton TN, born August 28, 1936 in Chattanooga, TN passed away suddenly on February 9, 2022.  She was retired from Standard Knitting Mill and loved her dog Winston.  She also loved her plants, crossword puzzles, and birds.  She was loved by anyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter; Carol Renee McMurry and parents; Claude and Ida Simpson.

She is survived by her sons; Michael (Jama) Campbell, Rick (Missy) Campbell, Charlie (Pam) Campbell, Johnny (Angela) Campbell, daughters; Pam (Michael) Graves, Barbara Frye, grandchildren; Melissa (Lee) Davis, Justin (Stacey) Campbell, April (Beau) Cuthbert, Josh Irwin, Allison Percival (Brad), Crystal (Jordan) Price, Nick Campbell, JJ (Brianna) Campbell, Corey (Heather) Campbell, and Aaron (Becca) McMurry. 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter Mia Grace Coram and loving dog; Winston.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home Chapel in Rutledge, TN with funeral to follow at 7:00pm.  Pastor Tony Maples officiating. Burial at Washburn Baptist Church Cemetery Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
