Mary Lee Dalton, 84, of Rutledge, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. She was a member of Noah’s Chapel Church. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and “ganny”, who will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Dalton; her mother, Minnie Bull; her son, Frankie Dalton; her brother, Kenny Young; and her sisters, Ruth Fields, Charlotte Swinney, and Geraldine Howerton.
She is survived by her son, Jackie (Jennifer) Dalton; daughters, Vickie (Ray) Bibbins, Dixie (Allen) Eldridge, Mickey (Terry) Hatfield, Pam (Gonzalo “Cowboy”) Rubio; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 5pm – 8pm.
Friends and family will meet at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 12:30 pm to go in procession to Blaine’s Chapel American Christian Church for a 2 pm funeral service officiated by Tommy Frye. Graveside Service to go follow at Blaine’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Rutledge.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home and a special thanks to Vickie Gibson and Christine Davis.
