Mitchell Hollis Davidson, age 76 of Bean Station, was born on July 5, 1946, and passed away September 11, 2022 in his home. During his lifetime, he established and ran several successful businesses, including Davidson Construction Company. Mitch professed faith in Christ at a young age and remained a devout Christian through his life. He was known and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Fred L. Davidson; his mother, Eva Jean Davidson; his son, Attorney Jeffrey Leon Davidson; Charlotte Gross; and his loyal pet companion Sissy Faith Davidson.
He is survived by his companion through life, Patricia Boggs; children Pamela Davidson Kyle (Jeff), Christy Davidson Collins (Derrick), Dr. Kimberly Davidson (Jason), Kerry Davidson Gatlin (Lance); stepchildren Rebecca Boggs and Anthony Boggs (Gina); grandchildren Ashley Kyle, Whitney Kyle Nickles (Dusty), Chelsie Davidson Milam (Brad), Attorney Tyler Davidson (Erin), Logan Mitchell Davidson (Morgan), Brock Davidson (Casey), Kannon Davidson, Mackenzie Collins, Macie Collins, Gabbi Gatlin, Maddi Kate Gatlin, and Jasper Hollis Howard; step grandchildren Alyssa Seal (Cody), Arianna Looney (Zachary), Preston Collins (Lindsey), Kassidee Martin (Trent), Bryant Nantz (Kendra), Hunter Boggs (Kaylie), Destiny Owens (Dalton), and Kyler Boggs; 21 great-grandchildren; sister Brenda Ping (Herb); nieces Rhonda Phifer (Kevin) and Tracie Ludwig (Rob), and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Mitch on Thursday, September 15 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge, TN. All are welcome to attend.
