Pernecia Kay Baker Long “Perky” left her earthly home on Monday, January 27, 2020. She was born and raised in Hixson, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Louise Baker, Hixson, TN.
She is survived by her husband Charles “Bob” Long, Bean Station, TN; daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Donnie Wieber of Mooresburg, TN, and God’s special gifts, Adison, Tate, Keaton, and Raeleigh Wieber, all of Mooresburg; sister Bonnie Barr and family in Chattanooga and Travelers Rest, SC; brother Bob Baker and wife, Mary and family in Springfield, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In Bean Station, the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Central United Methodist Church of Bean Station, TN.
There will also be a visitation in the Chattanooga area from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Ooltewah Baptist Church, 5514 Main St, Ooltewah, TN 37363. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, at Forest Hills Cemetery, 416 Tennessee Ave, Chattanooga, TN. Services conducted by Rev. Larry Williams, Rev. Michael Bradley, and Rev. Jeremy Colloms. Soloist will be Karen Robinson.
