Rodney Todd Reagan “Toddy”, 56, passed away Sunday September 19, 2021 at Select Specialty in Powell surrounded by his mother, sister, nieces, nephew and a few friends from the church he loved so well.
Toddy loved everyone and everyone loved him. He loved going to his church, Community Chapel in Bean Station where he was a member and served as janitor for several decades. He loved angels and was an Angel himself here on earth. He loved gospel music and would go to his room and play it every night. He loved hearing the McKamey’s and would go visit them wherever they were. He loved listening to Northside trio, he loved Imogene and Deb, and listened to them in his final hour. Toddy never once said a bad thing about anyone and would call anyone out if they did.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Reagan, Grandparents Fred and Beulah Reagan , Bob Welch and Leona Welch Smith. Uncles and Aunts L.C “PeeRoy” and Agnes Carpenter, Walt and Cheerful Coffey, Hugh, and Linnie Jarnigan, John Dee and Cleo Atkins, Edward “Tootsie” Welch, Walt Clarence Welch, JC and Doll Welch, Wanda Kay Lawson, Leon Reagan, Jasper and Louise Butler, and Leon Owens.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy Reagan and brother Derry Reagan of the home. Sister Sherry (John) Skeen Jr., of Morristown, Nephew Ethan (Megan) Skeen along with Alexia Matthews and Mckinzie Skeen of Rutledge, Niece Lindsey (Chad) Perry along with Layla and Leona Perry of Talbott. Uncles and Aunts Harold and Rhonda Reagan, Jack Reagan, Ray and Nancy Gray, Max and Pat Reagan, Mary Ruth Owens of Rutledge, Leon and Linda Hubbard of New Market, Ron and Margaret Evaldi of Indiana, Brenda Goods of Morristown, and Wanda McDaniel of Bean Station. Over 100 cousins including two very Special cousins Debra Spoone and Inez Dalton. He will forever be missed by his fur baby Chloe.
Family and friends may pay their respects 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Smith Reagan Funeral home in Rutledge. He will be taken to Community Chapel in Bean Station, Friday September 24, 2021 for his funeral at 12pm, with Rev. Chris Hayes and Rev. Terry Winstead officiating. Interment will follow to Blue Springs Cemetery in Rutledge.
