Roy Lee Howerton, 70, of Mooresburg went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 19, 2020. He was a faithful member of Manley Baptist Church for 11 years.
He was preceded in death his parents, Stephen and Lena (Cupp) Howerton and sister, Thelma Miracle.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Howerton; daughter, Lydia Sue Lovell; sons, Willie Howerton and Jake (Tammy) Howerton; grandchildren, Becca Lovell, Chris & Rebecca Lovell, Brian Lovell, Jessie Howerton, Daniel Howerton, Nick Hatfield, and Megan Cheek; great-grandchild, Shadow Howerton; step-sons, Tom (Connie) Moran, Dave (Becky) Sandstrom, Scott Sandstrom and Andrea Marshall; step-grandchildren, Nick Moran, Thomas (Caitlyn) Moran, Tori Moran, Adrianna Moran, Kaylee Moran, Davey Sandstrom, Ty Sandstrom, Michael Sandstrom, Tyler Sandstrom, Drew Sandstrom, and Haley Sandstrom; step-great-grandchildren, Norman Moran, Bryson Moran, Jackson Moran, Aubrey Moran; brother, Paul (Donna) Hancock; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 21, 2020, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Narrow Valley Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 5:00pm. Friends and family will meet Narrow Valley Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 2pm for a graveside service with Rev. Robert White officiating.
