Ruth Ann (Winstead) Robertson, age 71, passed away June 12, 2022. God granted her request to go home by taking her to her Heavenly home. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bean Station.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Lucy Winstead, infant son; Tony, brothers; Darrell, Danny and Ronnie (Cotton) Winstead and niece Nikki Wallen.
She is survived by her husband; David Robertson, daughter; Phyllis West, granddaughter; Shayla West (Charlie Kissinger), great grandson; Colton, whom she adored and sisters; Linda (Gary)Wallen and Darlene (Wayne) Coffman.
She was blessed with many special nieces and nephews; Brad, Tanya, and Braelyn Winstead, Tara, Daniel, Landon, Will and Dacyn Cornett, Darrell, Nesha, Matthew and Gavyn Winstead, Traci, Brian, Sarah, and Bayne Kesterson, Austin Thompson, Aidan Sullivan, Amy and Ben Holloway, Megan, Rob, Jackson and Evelyn Noe. She loved them all dearly and loved sharing her favorite foods with them, including her homemade candies, macaroni salad and fried bologna sandwiches. Surviving aunts include Gladys Davidson, Annie Bell Bowlin and Ruth Jarnigan, sister in law; Claudia (Jeff) Worth, sister in law; Jenice Williams and brother in law; Daryle Robertson.
Per her request, she will be cremated. Receiving of friends will be from 5pm to 7pm on June 15, 2022 at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Bean Station building fund.
