Sharon Kay (Acuff) McAnally

Obituary

Sharon Kay Acuff McAnally, born April 20, 1948, died February 22, 2021.  She was saved at Puncheon Camp Missionary Baptist Church and was a member at Lake Shore Missionary Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Irene Acuff ; brother, Sam Acuff.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry McAnally;  daughters, Angel (David) Johns, April (Randy) Hodge; son, Alex (Alisha) McAnally; grandchildren, Matthew (Hanna) Hodge, Caitlyn (Zack) Atkins, Zachary Johns, Elijah and Mason McAnally; great-grandchildren, Carlie and Westin Hodge, Kinslee and Braxtyn Atkins; sisters, Mildred Clark, Mattie Clark, Anita Williams; brothers, Doyal McCoy, Stanley Acuff, and Jeff Acuff; several sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at Lakeshore Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 2pm with Rev. C.H. Dalton and Rev. Lowell Welch officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12-2pm at the church before the service.  Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
