Shirley Ann Bean, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, Monday March 15, 2021.
Shirley was a loyal member of Blaine’s Chapel American Christian Church. She dedicated her adult years being a servant to those in need in her community. Shirley was also a quilter and she put many hours of love and labor into her talent. She was also a school bus driver for many years and she loved all of her children. Shirley will be remembered most for sharing her testimony and her love for the lord.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ethel Rush and her sister, Judy Elliott.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James “Jim” Bean; Their children, Scott (Missy) Bean, Wade (Amanda) Bean, Leeann Bean; Brother Ernie (Jeannie) Rush, and Sister Lisa Rush; Grandchildren, Caleb, Jacey (Mathew), Mitchell (Riley), Taylor (Zach), Hannah, Madison (D’Anthony), Tee, and Aaron; Great grandchildren, Bella and Daisy May Greer, and Eadyn Davis A very special niece Katie Rush; Brother and sister in laws, David (Edwina) Bean, Rick (Kim) Bean, Judy (David) Roach.
The family would like to extend a very special Thank You to U.T. Hospice nurses for the care they have shown during this time.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:30pm.
