Tammy Louise (Ogan) Jackson, age 57, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 23, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was devoted to her family, whom she loved more than life itself. Tammy was a member of Avondale Baptist Church. She was a certified electrician and a rural mail carrier in Hamblen County.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Collins; daughter, Greta Bull Seay; brother, David Lane.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Gary “Dupie” Jackson; son, Rafael (Latosha) Jackson; step daughter, Angie (Keith) Lamb; great grandson, Kason Seay, who was loved like a son; granddaughters, Kelsey Seay, Abby Seay (Chase), Taylor Lamb, Blake Lamb (Jonah); grandson, Bailey (Conner) Lamb; great granddaughter, Maiv Longmire; great grandson, Korbin Layel; brothers, Paul (Kim) Ogan, Danny Lane; sister, Sue Singleton, and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home, Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 5pm-7pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm with Rev. Jessie Surber and Rev. J.C. Morgan officiating,
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00am at Avondale Cemetery.
